Established El Dorado County law firm with busy practice in trusts and estates, conservatorships, and probates is looking for an experienced secretary/legal assistant for full time employment. Requires excellent computer and organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to write. Civil litigation experience is a plus but not required. Looking for an enthusiastic team player who is dedicated and interested in learning and growing with the position.



Assist attorney with daily work flow. Ability to change gears as needed depending on incoming work as given by the attorney. Awareness of upcoming calendar appointments. Draft documents such as letters, proofs of service, estate planning, deeds, etc. Follow office procedures set in place such as file naming for electronic files and management of physical files.



WordPerfect, Word, Excel, Acrobat and strong general computer skills required.

Familiarity with Judicial Council forms and pleadings needed.

Experience as legal secretary or legal assistant required; experience in estate planning, probate and conservatorships preferred.

Notary preferred.
